5. Is breathing the same as respiration? NO!!! Breathing only involves inhaling & exhaling Respiration is the entire process by which the body obtains & uses oxygen and gets rid of carbon dioxide

6. Breathing Process of moving air into & out of the lungs Inspiration : intake of air, chest expands as muscles contract move ribs up & out At the same time the diaphragm contraction moves downward Expiration: release of air, reverse
