2. Chlamydia
Chlamydia is a sexually transmitted infection caused by bacteria of the genus . This bacteria can effect both men and women. It can infect the cervix and the urethra in woman. It can also infect the rectum of both male and female.

Women
An increase in vaginal discharge caused by an inflamed cervix
The need to urinate more frequently, or pain whilst passing urine
Pain during sexual intercourse or bleeding after sex, lower abdominal pains; irregular menstrual bleeding.

Men
“A white/cloudy and watery discharge from the penis that may stain underwear; a burning sensation and/or pain when passing urine; pain and swelling in the testicles.”

5. How is Chlamydia passed on
Chlamydia is passed on by having unprotected vaginal, anal, or oral sex with someone whose infected.
Also from mother to child at birth.

6. Treatment To treat Chlamydia you have to take antibiotics tablets.
If taken correctly, it can be more than 95 percent effective.
