3. What’s new and exciting? New Follow-up Flag on the Admissions Reporting page and new follow-up flag filter control!

4. Demo: Dynamic Selection Reporting Ever seen this button and wondered what it was? There are times you want to apply a group of student ID’s against a FAST report. This example will use data from an Excel spreadsheet that we can upload into FAST!

5. What else is new?? In and Out of State/Prov now being captured in Enrolment Summary Reporting Page

6. TBD instructor added to instructor filters to search for courses where no instructor has been assigned

7. Calculated fields based on Credit Hours for Hours Earned and Year of Student have been added NOTE: The set-up is done in your Configuration Settings for Text Value codes and Max number of Credit hours for each Year of Study

8. New Fields added: Dean’s List indicator and Date have been added to the General Student Info and to the Student Info Tables. Detailed High School Grade information for applicants as well as a new High School Grades Page that links to the existing high school information report! Option to pull Wait List information directly from your LIVE system, rather than the FAST Warehouse if an active term is selected (Configuration Setting #400).

10. New Reports! New Student Aged Receivables reporting page under the Student Accounts Menu: Displays students with outstanding receivables with a 30/60/90+ time period

11. Not Open For Registration Displays list of courses, by term, that exist but are not currently open for Registration. Report is available under the Course Info Menu. A likely cause for this status might be when the course has been introduced but then cancelled. Search by Term, Campus, Subject or even Start Date!

12. Withdrawals Report New report, under the Registration Menu, will display all registration records that are not included in current enrolment codes. Included information:  Remaining Credit Hours  Registration Code and Description  Registration Date and UserID  Course Info, General Student Info including Email control

Administration Training There are 4 Key areas that are so simple and offer YOU so much control over your own Student application: Define Roles Groups Menu Access Basic Report Level Administration It will save you the time and effort of asking for help when you can take charge and do it yourself!

14. Define Roles This is where you have the chance to create additional User Roles and also have the ability to define any “Role” as also being a “Group”

15. What are Groups? By checking the “Group” indicator for a Role, you can allow members of that Group (all staff within the Role), to share data between them such as Group Pinned Reports and Group Dashboards. You could also define Roles and Groups to display by ‘function’ such as:  Admissions Officers Group  Department AO Group  Records Staff Group

16. Menu Access – aka – Who Sees What Common question = “Why can’t Joe see this new report?? – is FAST broken?” Answer = “FAST is never broken….” All reports – new and old – require an administrator to decide WHO gets to see them.

17. Menu Access You have a very fine-grained level of control over access in FAST – down to the report and even columns within each report! To assign a group to a report, just drag & drop from the Available Roles List! Everyone IN that Role, will then be able to see that report!

18. Report Level Administration - Intro Don’t like the look of a report for your institution?? – Change it !! Couple things you need to remember: Every report has an Administration Tab Only those with the Master Role will see this tab Modifying these settings will have a global impact …in other words these changes will apply to everyone using the report!
