17 Front Row Math Students will take a placement test in school before each math unit. This will allow me to group students into math groups. Students receive practice on their level at least 1x per week during math centers. Students may work on Front Row at home in place of the Quick Check side of their math homework (parents must sign that side and write that the child did FrontRow instead)

18 Reading Goals Rather than doing a traditional reading log, our class will goal setting this year. Families will choose a reading goal that is specific to their child’s needs and interests. Families will decide how to track and measure the success of that goal and will track the goal for a month. Students will turn in their tracking page at the end of the month. There is no penalty if you miss your goal for the month, as long as you tried to make it. Students that meet their goal 5/9 months will receive a special reward
