1. Intellectual Ladies Intellectual (adj.): showing the power of knowledge Ladies (n.): women who are refined, polite and well spoken

2. Goal: To enhance self image and leadership skills. Mission: To maximize self development through community/school service, leadership, and social empowerment.

3. Common Purpose We all have something to offer. Everyone may not be your friend. However, we all have something in common. We are all girls that should be able to learn, grow, and fellowship together.

4. Guest speakers to discuss things like skin care, hair care, health and wellness, etiquette, fashion, and careers just to name a few

5. “Chick Chats” Intimate discussions focusing on girl related issues including body image, peer pressure, social media and building relationships.

6. School and Community Service No, I’m not talking about picking up trash. The Intellectual Ladies will perform services that will enhance the quality of our school and community. This could be planting a flower garden to help beautify the school or making signs to encourage our special needs population to do well at a Special Olympics event. It could also mean polishing the nails of elderly residents at an assisted living facility or putting together personal care kits for homeless people. Together, we will learn the value of service.
