2 Main Characters ► Percy Jackson Percy Jackson is 14 years old. He goes to a school called Moode High school. His father’s name is Poseidon. Percy has a mother named sally Jackson. He has a sword named riptide and a shield that his half-brother made for him. Percy has friend named Grover Underwood and Annabeth chase. He is the protagonist. ► Tyson Tyson is a Cyclopes. He is Percy’s half-brother. He was raised in the streets. Percy and Tyson meet at a school a few years ago. He is a protagonist.

3 Setting ► The Labyrinth The Labyrinth is an underground maze that runs across the world. It is alive and constantly grows. It is set with a lot of traps and dangerous monsters. The Labyrinth has something called Ariadne’s string. Ariadne is a princess placed in charge of the Labyrinth. When thrown into the maze, this string will help guide you through the labyrinth. But, a better guide is a mortal girl that can see through the mists.

4 Conflict The conflict of the story is an evil titan named Kronos is trying to destroy Camp Half-Blood. The type of conflict is man vs. man. Kronos used the Labyrinth travel quickly from place to place. In order to save Camp Half-Blood, Percy had to destroy the Labyrinth with Kronos inside.

5 My Prediction ► When I first got this book, I looked at the cover and made a prediction of what the book was going to be about. My prediction was that Percy was going to figure a way to hold back Kronos from destroying Mount Olympus. ► My prediction was correct. Kronos planned to destroy Mount Olympus after annihilating Camp Half-Blood.
