3 Setting The Anderson Farm is were Ted and April met. Also it is one of the places where Ted helps April get food and other essentials they need to live. This is where their relationship really begins to grow. The school is also an important setting. This is where Ted really begins reading mysteries. 4 The conflict of the story is when Ted realizes that his school will soon be closing. He wants to figure out a way to save it and as he does he notices April in a window hiding from him. So the next day, Ted had decided to go inside the house and sees April there. They begin talking and he finds out that April can’t be seen by anyone or a guy from the Military may track her family down and take them. So Ted makes a promise to April to help her out. Which will take a lot of work. The type of conflict is Man vs. Society. Since there was two main characters and a conflict. Finally the resolution of the story is that April and her family leave the town right when the people of the town decide to welcome them.
