1 Learn how to Advertise on Facebook! By: Seth Greene and Market Domination LLC Americas Ultimate Marketing Magician

2 Go to www.Facebook.com in Google Chromewww.Facebook.com

3 You must compile a list of at least 150 e-mails only to input into Power Editor before you can create any type of ad. Save them as a CSV file and make sure you have only 1 Sheet in your spread.

4 Go to Ads Manager on the top left corner of your screen and click Power Editor.

5 Click Create Audience then Custom Audience

6 Select Data File Custom Audience

7 Name your File and Select Data Type: Emails

8 Choose your File to upload

9 If you get an error click Create Audience.

10 When this audience is created you can select it and hit create lookalike Audience at the bottom.

11 You can now start creating Ads in Facebook!

12 For Creating Page likes using your e-mail patient list:

13 Go to Ads Manager on the top left corner of your screen.

14 Click Create an Ad under the Ads Manager screen

15 For Page Likes click the Page Likes Button

16 Select the Page you want people to like.

17 Add up to 6 Pictures (Pictures are limited to obtaining a maximum of 20% text)

18 You want your pictures to relate to your product or service. Think of why your audience would need you. Create a picture that targets this. You can reposition your pictures to fit the different views or browse your library to use pictures you’ve uploaded previously.

19 Add a Headline, Text and change your landing view to Timeline (both have limited characters)

20 Target why your audience needs you. Headline: Comforté Text: “Is your Period an Exclamation Point? Like us if you want All Natural PMS Pain Relief Fast!” (Remove the right column view, it doesn’t work)

21 Search for your Patient e-mail list under Custom Audiences

22 Select the Patient e-mail list and change your standard demographics such as age, gender and income based upon the audience you are targeting.

23 You can change the income by going to more demographics, financial and then select income and the range(s) you prefer.

24 Once you have changed your demographics make sure your connections are set on All.

25 Name your Ad set with a descriptive title you will recognize and select your budget.

26 You can then Place your Order!

27 For creating Page Likes using your Look a like Audience:

28 For Page Likes click the Page Likes Button

29 Select the Page you want people to like.

62 Once you have changed your demographics make sure your connections are set to Advanced connection targeting.

63 Name your Ad set with a descriptive title you will recognize and select your budget.

64 You can then Place your Order!

65 To Create an Offer Ad go to the Page you are Creating an Ad for.

66 Click the Offer Button on your Page

67 You will need a title and a description (both are limited in characters) as well as a picture (also limited to 20% text only)

68 Create a picture promoting the offer, add in your logo and a catchy slogan. Keep in mind your image is limited to 20% text only!

69 -Your title should be the offer. “$249 in Office Whitening!” -The description should include a brief summary of your offer or a slogan and how they are contacting you if by e-mail or phone. “Brighten your Smile this Summer! Call (817) 717-1013 today to set up your first session!” -Upload your picture

70 Add an Expiration date as well as a limit to the amount of claims offered if applicable then click more options.

71 Choose the date you wish the offer to start on and enter a link to the offer if you have one. Add in any terms and conditions that may apply to the offer. “Call (817) 717-1013 to set up your first session. Appointments are subject to availability. Not to be combined with any other offer, promotion or pre existing treatment. Little to no sensitivity. Hurry offer ends July 15th, 2014”

72 Click create Offer!

73 After your offer is approved you can see your ad under campaigns. You can re-name them by click the pencil icon when hovering over it.

74 We can then create offer claims by clicking your ad. It will bring you to this screen.

75 Click your ad again and it will bring you here which has two offer claims created that you can edit.

76 Click on your first offer claim then click edit targeting.

77 You want to upload your e-mail list and your lookalike e-mail list. Also change your location to get a more accurate area of where you want to target

78 Again change your demographics such as age, gender, income and any other demographics

79 Change your connections to all and if you have any interests or behaviors that would apply to your offer.

80 You want your audience definition to be in the green area. Hit save and label this offer claim with a description of the offer and ideal because this is using your ideal audience information.

81 For the second offer claim click edit creative again. Leave the custom audience section blank and change the location again.

82 Change the age and gender again but leave the interests and behaviors blank.

83 Change the connections to advanced connection targeting.

84 You want your audience definition to be in the green area. Hit save and label this offer claim with a description of the offer and friends of fans because this is using the friends of fans connection.

85 In this section at the top of your screen after hitting save you can also edit your lifetime budget depending on your budget and the length of time it runs for.

86 To Create a Clicks to Website Ad you must first have your e-mail lists imputed into power editor before you can start:

87 Under Ads Manager go to Clicks to Website and impute the web address

88 Find the Facebook page for the Website you are promoting.

89 You can upload up to 6 pictures (Each picture is limited to 20% text)

90 You want your pictures to relate to the website. Think of why your audience would visit it. You want your pictures to relate to your product or service. Think of why your audience would need you. Create a picture that targets the problem and why they need you.

91 You can reposition your pictures to fit the different views or browse your library to use pictures you’ve uploaded previously.

92 Choose from the options listed in the Call to Action.

93 Add a Headline and text to your images. Again target the problem your audience is having. Headline: “Does your dog misbehave?” Text: “If your Fed Up and Need Help With Your Dog Click to See How Doggie Boot Camp Can Help You!” (Remove the right column view, it doesn’t work)

94 You then have the option to choose your Custom Audience, your Lookalike Audience, your friends of fans or your Ideal Patient. If choosing your friends of fans or ideal patient leave the Custom Audience section blank.

95 If you are choosing to do Custom Audience then you upload your customer e-mail list. If you are choosing your look a like audience then you upload the look a like e-mail list. Custom AudienceLook a Like Audience

98 For the Custom, Ideal and Look a Like option you select All under Connections.

102 When Creating a Page Post Engagement you must first have your e-mail lists imputed into power editor before you can start:

103 Go to Page Post Engagement Under Ads Manager and select the facebook page and the post you are boosting.

104 You then have the option to choose your Custom Audience, your Lookalike Audience, your friends of fans or your Ideal Patient. If choosing your friends of fans or ideal patient leave the Custom Audience section blank.

105 If you are choosing to do Custom Audience then you upload your customer e-mail list. If you are choosing your look a like audience then you upload the look a like e-mail list. Custom AudienceLook a Like Audience
