1 True or False About 7% of all the marble produced in the world comes from Greece In Greece it is considered an insult to show the palm of your hand Greece’s official name is the Hellenic Republic Greek is quite a new language About 80% of Greece is mountainous Greeks consume a lot of olives, but most of these have to be imported

5 Write your own myth... You will have an hour to research and write your own myth.... Things you might want to consider: -Where will your myth be set -What characters will your myth have and how many -What names will your characters have -What is the storyline to your myth On mount Olympus? On one of the islands A main character Any Gods Ariadne Theseus Character A is a beautiful princess kept prisoner by character B. Character C sets out to free the princess but has to face the beast that guards the princess - OR you might want to create a story board

6 20 questions! You can ask me 20 yes/no questions to try and guess what it is I’m thinking about.... For example.... Is it a human? Is it an object?
