Pick a Side! The Crucible Activity Gold 2014

Your aunt makes you a cake for your birthday party, and it tastes absolutely terrible. You feel like throwing up every time you take a taste. Your aunt asks you if you like the cake she made. Do you say yes or no?

Your best friend copies your math homework during study hall and asks you not to tell. After school, your math teacher asks you if anybody copied your work. Do you say yes or no?

Your friend confides in you that she has been experiencing abuse at home and is running away to Indiana. When she goes missing, the police come to school to ask her friends if they know anything. When they ask you if you know anything, do you say yes or no?

You miss your alarm, wake up late, skip your shower, feel gross, get into a car accident on the way to school, get to school just in time for a test you forgot about, fail the test, realize you forgot to bring lunch, ask your friend for food, find out that your friend hates you for some unknown reason, and walk across the street to buy fast food. The man at the cash register offers a polite, “Welcome to Burrito Chime! How are you today?” Do you say “Good” or “Terrible”?

Your mom has recently lost 40 pounds due to healthful lifestyle changes. She buys a new dress for a church event and is excited about her new style. You notice that it hugs her belly and makes her look heavier than she is, but say nothing until she asks you, “How do I look!?” Do you say, “Great” or do you tell her the truth?
