2 Masculine or Feminine Noun? Nouns that end in –a are feminine. Nouns that don’t end in –a are masculine. Nouns that end in –o are masculine

3 Nouns & definate articles el, la, los, and las are called definite articles –Mean “the” (singular/ plural) In Spanish, nouns have a gender –Gender meaning it is called a “masculine noun” or a “feminine noun” –How do you know if it’s masculine or feminine? Look at the last letter of the noun (or adjective). El and Los are used with masculine nouns. La and Las are used with feminine nouns.
