1 Teamwork Training Series The Recommended “Reading Material” to Master this topic is: “The 17 Indisputable Laws of Teamwork” by John C. Maxwell Network Marketing is 100% about Teamwork. Ideas like Leverage and even The term ‘distribution network’ implies that several people are working together. Take UPS for example. They have a Distribution network in place. They’re able to Ship a product from one warehouse to another, and then deliver it locally to its Final destination. This all happens because these centers Communicate with each Other, and they work together to achieve their goal; getting a product from One Place to Another, within a certain amount of time. When we Apply this to Network Marketing, and understand how a TEAM can Accomplish MORE Than an Individual, you’ll start to understand why we take This topic as seriously as we do. Working with a TEAM speeds up Production.

2 Teamwork Training Series You and I are dealing with People, whether we are recruiting or attempting to get Customers… People are our Real Product and we Must understand them … People put up Walls, and are naturally resistant – especially to change.. But also to Anything New, or Unknown. Some may embrace the unknown but others fear it! SO you, as an Individual have a LOT to overcome as you come up against people And their WALLS  All of this changes for you, when you present yourself as part Of a Team. Now, that person can see Others who trust ‘whatever it is’ … and that Will motivate them to take it much more seriously, than when it’s … just you. Because, people are our product …. And if you study people you will find that Most of us have a ‘need to belong’ … when people see Others doing it, they want To do it too …. It’s an understanding about people, that we must have. Having it Helps us Sell out to the idea of Embracing Teamwork, to make the Dream Work!

3 Teamwork Training Series  Your Team 1. Working with your Upline Your Upline is a ‘line’ of people who have come before you. They benefit from helping you make money; Often they’ve been through the things you are experiencing and can help you overcome obstacles. It’s always important to work “with” your upline. Being an echo is often more beneficial to you than being the lone wolf. Whenever you join a Team, if there is an established way of doing things, and especially if it’s established by the upline, you want to simply Play your role on the Team. Look for areas where the upline needs help, and offer to fill that position. Help out! Be useful! Make yourself Valuable. You’ll reach your goal faster working WITH your upline than working AGAINST your upline, by trying things your own way. And who really wants someone like That on their team anyway??? But here is the REAL reason you’ll want to WORK with your Upline…

4 Teamwork Training Series  Your Team 1. Working with your Upline If YOU ever become ‘fortunate’ to build a Downline, you will want the leaders in your downline, working ‘with’ you – Imagine how much you would get accomplished if You could Duplicate yourself??? Well that is exactly what we are doing, by working ‘as a team’ – we learn to speak the same language, and then we can teach others to speak that language as well. We are establishing our “Culture” here… In our Culture, we want to make sure we Bring back “Respect for the Network” – starting with showing a respect for the Upline; the ones who came before, did most of the groundwork, and layed a foundation for others to follow. However, respect goes both ways…

5 Teamwork Training Series  Your Team 2. Working with your Downline If YOU ever become ‘fortunate’ to build a Downline … Respect that network – respect that Connection; learn from ‘your upline’ what You need to do for YOUR downline, as it grows and explodes with others who are just like you; Hungry and excited to work with the team! Another way working with your upline helps! Your job as a “sponsor” is always to “lead by example” – if you want your people coming to training, then you have to come to training, on a regular basis. If you want your people to watch videos and listen to audios, or read book, then you must do these things too. If you want other people to talk to pepole everyday, then you must also be talking to people every day. This is how you work With your Downline. By BEING an Example of what THEY should strive to be..

6 Teamwork Training Series  Your Team 3. Working with your Frontline As a “Sponsor” the only people you are really working with is your Frontline. Their ‘downline’ is Off limits to you. You should never hold conversations with your Frontline’s people, about anything, unless you are “edifying” their Sponsor…. Or seeking to help YOUR frontline partner – Your Frontline Partners are always your MOST important!!! You will NEVER have a downline without having quality people on Your FRONT LINE – These are your Board of Ceo’s – and Together you’re going to build an empire … or you’re going out of business!
