1 How to cook a duck

2 Ingredients Approx. 2kg whole duck, cleaned Mixture of 20 ml of maple syrup and 20 ml of olive oil 2-3 teaspoons of sea salt A dozen of prunes 30 ml of cognac (brandy)

3 Prepare your ingredients

4 Rub the duck’s skin with mixture of maple syrup and olive oil

5 Put salt inside the duck

6 Stuff the duck with dozen of prunes

7 Splash of cognac inside the duck

8 Make a ball out of piece of aluminium foil and cover the hole in the duck

9 Cover tips of the wings and the neck with aluminium foil Important! Bake the duck breast down!

10 Bake the duck for 20 min per every half a kilo (1 hour and 20 min for this 2 kg beauty)

11 Serve decorated with parsley and oranges
