Leads to the idea of Humanism = individual and human society are important as well as faith and afterlife
People begin to look back to the ancient Greeks and Romans for knowledge and learning = rebirth of these ideas!
Led to a search for new ideas and great achievements in art, science, literature, math, medicine + inventions
