Solution: The bar purchased the Sturdy Sipper (PL-4353) and set up kiosks above its inside and outside bars that displayed the sipper in all colors. Patrons could purchase a souvenir sipper or get it for free with the purchase of any of the bar ’ s specialty cocktails. This offer was conveyed on menus, cocktail napkins and with signage at the kiosks. Result: After an initial purchase of 500 units, the promotion took off resulting in additional orders averaging 1500 per month for the months June through August. The promotion was especially popular with beach goers who were largely responsible for a 60% increase in revenues for specialty drinks. SUCCESS STORY
