 Recipe / Master List Has Been Developed Into a Communication Tool Between  Chefs  R&D Chef  FoodPro Coordinator  Benefit Of This Has Been Shortened “In-Between-Time” From The Recipe Testing & Writing Process To The Completing Stage  Chefs Are Able To Create and Maintain Their Own Lists For Various Purposes  New Menu Development  Batch Recipe Printing  Tracking Progress Of Recipes During Completion Process

 Originally, Process Was Developed In Our Efforts To Clean Up The Recipe Database – We Will Continue With This Process In New Recipe Development  Chefs Test & Write Recipes In Their Specific Series Of Numbers  Chefs Then Mark Recipe For R&D Chef To Review – “For Sara”  R&D Chef Reviews and Either Marks For FoodPro Coordinator’s Review – “For Laura”  OR  Selects Chef’s Name and Sends Back For Adjustments – “Chefs Name”  FoodPro Coordinator Reviews Recipe and Marks Recipe As – “Completed”  OR  Selects Chef’s Name and Sends Back With Questions / Adjustments – “Chefs Name”

 Added Each Chefs Name To List  Reflects Stages Each Recipe Will Go Through

 Chefs Each Have Their Own Series Of Numbers To Develop Recipes In  In Order To Maintain Our Recipe Database, I Audit The Recipes In Their Numbers Every Three Months and Delete Recipes That Have Been In There Without Progression  Master List Allows Me To Pull Recipes Within The Chefs Number Range and Populate Their List

 List Populates and I Know What New Recipes Have Been Marked For Me To Look At  Chefs Utilize This List To See What Outstanding Questions They Have  FoodPro Coordinator Uses This To See What Recipes Are Ready For Completion  Depending On Time Of Year, I May Have To Check List More Than Once a Day To Keep Recipe Process Moving

 This Is a Great Tool For Pulling What Recipes Are Using a Specific Ingredient  We Had a Ground Cumin Recall and Had To Pull Recipes Off Menus That Were Utilizing This Ingredient  This Can Also Be a Tie-In To Replace Ingredient Globally With Replacement Ingredient

 List Of All Recipes Using Ground Cumin Was Populated and We Were Able To Cross- Reference With Menus, Remove Items From Being Served and Eventually Change Out Ingredients Globally To Whole Cumin

 Document Will Populate With Specific Information

 We Utilize Master Lists To Create a Pre-Pack Recipe List Which Allows Us To Print Nutrition Labels Each Day

 Once List Is Populated We Are Able To Enter Number Of Labels We Need To Print

 We Utilize Our Menu Grids To Gain Recipe Numbers Of Recipes / Menu Items On Specific Menus

 Great Time Saver For Batching Recipes Throughout Semester If Number Isn’t Known
