3 Station #1: Quick Shots (15 min)
Setup: For every 4-5 players: Set up goals with cones 4-5 yards apart Each goal should have a keeper and a shooter on each side Game: Shooters on each side of goal alternate shooting at goal, trying to shoot quickly Rotate shooter and goalie after about 5 or 6 shots on goal Coaching: Have players start about 10 yards from goal and shoot stationary Have players move further back and dribble towards goal before shooting 20yds 35yds Kent City FC © 2014

4 Station #2: Small-Sided: 3-goal shooting Game (15 min)
Setup: For every 4-5 players: Create a triangular goal 6 yds x 6 yds x 6 yds Use 1 or 2 goalkeepers Game: Play around the goal Players can attack any side of the three-sided goal When goalkeepers get the ball, they should give the ball back to the attackers, and play should resume Rotate goalies/field players every few minutes Coaching: Encourage attacking players to move around with and without ball Encourage communication among attackers (“ball”, “man-on”, “drop” etc) If players hold ball too long (more than 3-5 seconds) start timing them out loud to encourage quicker release Variations: require attackers pass at least once before shooting (goal off of an assist) 20yds 35yds Kent City FC © 2014

5 Station #3: 1 v 1 Shooting Under Pressure (15 min)
20yds Setup: Split players into two teams, with one team wearing pinnies, and have players line up at a cone on either side of the goal Place two cones as a “gate” about 20 yards from the goal All balls next to coach Game: On coaches command, first player in each line runs to gate and enters gate around the outside as shown Coach serves a ball to a location on the field and players have to try to score quickly If ball goes in goal or out of bounds, or on coaches call, the players return to their lines and the coach commands the next two to go Coaching: Make sure players react quickly, and try to score quick on first clear look Play ball into different areas of box, in air, bouncing, and on ground Mix lines up occasionally so that matchups are fair 35yds Kent City FC © 2014

6 Station #4: Cones Game (15 min)
Setup: Divide players into two teams, 4v4, 5v5, each team a different color All balls next to coach on sideline at mid-field Tall cones set up on either end of field, 5yds from end line Players line up in (or similar) formation Game: To score, players have to knock down the cones Knock down all cones is a win Coaching: Encourage communication “ball!”, “man-on”, “drop”, etc. Encourage quick shots, quick decision making Play strict out of bounds (throw ins) or loose out of bounds (out if coach says it’s out) as the coach sees fit 20yds 35yds 5yds Kent City FC © 2014

7 Station #5: Quick Score in Box (15 min)
Setup: have players line up at a line of cones about 15 yards from a pop-up or full size goal Have players on their knees facing the goal Game: Coach will say how many players will be in next round (1st player each line, 1st two, etc) Coach does not give players verbal signal but rather serves the ball into the box The moment the players hear or see the served ball, they race to shoot 1v1, 2v2, etc in the box, both players score on same goal Coaching: Make sure players react quickly, and try to score quick on first clear look Play ball into different areas of box, in air, bouncing, and on ground 20yds 35yds Kent City FC © 2014
