4 EASZ-1 Water-in-Oil Monitor
The online water in oil monitors manufactured by EESIFLO International were designed to measure water in any form within an oil or hydrocarbon. The meters can be installed for any type of oil including lubricating fluids, hydraulics, fuel, crude oil and various hydrocarbons and mineral based liquids. We have paid special attention to the manufacturing of high quality monitors suitable for harsh environments or hazardous areas.

5 How does it works? Oil & Water have dissimilar dielectric properties; the typical value Dielectric Constant (εr) for oil is between 1.7 and 2.3 depending on the API gravity, and water has a typical value of 80. i.e. Water is capable of storing much more energy per volume unit then average oil, which can be measured in pF. Therefore, any change in the dielectric properties to oil due to water, will show up as a change in water content. EASZ-1 is designed to measure such capacitance change, which is correlated to the change of water content, and output to a remote display, flow computer or data system.

15 WATER % DATA LOGGER/RECORDER The EASZ-1 is also suitable in some areas of process control e.g where the CPO moisture content needs constant monitoring before transferring to process line/storage; or for negotiation purposes. We can expect greater accuracy under these conditions mainly due to stable temperature and the fact that we are only looking at dissolved water in oil.
