Typography is everywhere! The use of Illustration of text is on every web page and every modern designer’s artwork out there. Typography allows every graphic artist to provoke feelings and mood in their designs. As you will see, many of these works of typography capture so much more than just the words on the page.

This is the cover art for the album So Far Gone by the artist Drake. The cover art copyright is believed to belong to the label, Young Money Entertainment, Cash Money Records, Universal Motown, or the graphic artist.

19 th century typography Near the close of the 19th century came a new revival in the art of typography. It was led and stimulated by William Morris, an English artist, writer, and craftsman. He was unable to find types, paper, or printing that satisfied his standards. He decided to learn the art of printing. In 1891 he founded the Kelmscott Press. He designed special types with the aid of his friend Emery Walker. Morris' books, printed by hand on handmade paper, were in the style of the finest of the early books.

21 st Century Typography Today, designers can go far beyond typeface selection or size of type. They can overlap or interlock letters... experiment with the weight or slant of letters. There are new ranges of options within a given type family, alternative characters, ligatures, special symbols and ornaments. The designer can easily control the space between letters and the distance between lines. Type can be distorted, twisted, outlined or stretched. The possibilities are endless. http://typographytoday.posterous.com/

Theo Aartsma is an accomplished veteran in the design world. Theo has a bachelors in multimedia and his art focuses on blending illustrated typography with 2 and 3D art that he creates himself. Theo Aartsma, also known as Sumeco, is an awesome Dutch designer who's been doing some great work for some time now. Personally I think Theo Aartsma work is amazing, what fascinates me the most is the rich colours he uses to develop the images. Theo Aartsma http://abduzeedo.com/amazing-illustrations- theo-aartsma

The Arabic language have been using typography for a very long time since d. 939. Typography were used to form an elegant and rather uniform script, which came to be known as Kufic or Kufi. The art forms is based on the Arabic script, which for a long time was used by all Muslims in their respective languages. They used it to represent God because they denied representing God with images. Culture

Personal Opinion Personally I think typography is a accurate way of getting your point across, most artists that use typography in their work show a great amount of detail to make sure their audience capture every last moment of the piece. The technique has been around for a very long time and the idea of producing a outstanding typography image is to make the key-area known to the people in a another word “very clear”. http://boomintheb ox.blogspot.com/20 09/10/typography- portraits.html
