1 PRACTICE RAT DISSECTION TEST

2 PRACTICE TEST The test is normally called a dissection “practical”. This is how most dissection tests are given! Pans of dissected rats are situated around the lab in strategic locations. Each rat will have two-three numbered pins stuck in various structures. A question card will accompany the rat and the pins. You MUST be sure to read the question card as you look at the pins.

3 PRACTICE TEST 16 On some tests there will also be a written portion.
You will be given a word bank to assist you. The photos in this practice test may or may not have pins in the rat but may simply use an arrow like in this pig example. 16

4 PRACTICE TEST On the answer sheet for this practice test, go to number one and using the terms to know sheet from your dissection packet, go to number one. Use your dissection packet and your “Terms to know” packet to help you figure out the answer.
