2 Presented with Effective Document Management/Handover in the Engineering and Construction Sector This is a Title Slide with Picture and Two Logos slide ideal for including a picture and partner or product logos with a brief title, subtitle and presenter information. To customize this slide with your own picture: Right-click the slide area and choose Format Background from the pop-up menu. From the Fill menu, click Picture and texture fill. Under Insert from: click File. Locate your new picture and click Insert. To Replace the LOGOs on this sample slide: Right-click a sample LOGO and choose Change Picture. Navigate to the location where the new logo is stored, select desired logo file and click on the Open button to replace the sample logo. To copy the Customized Background from Another Presentation on PC Click New Slide from the Home tab's Slides group and select Reuse Slides. Click Browse in the Reuse Slides panel and select Browse Files. Double-click the PowerPoint presentation that contains the background you wish to copy. Check Keep Source Formatting and click the slide that contains the background you want. Click the left-hand slide preview to which you wish to apply the new master layout. Apply New Layout (Important): Right-click any selected slide, point to Layout, and click the slide containing the desired layout from the layout gallery. Delete any unwanted slides or duplicates. To copy the Customized Background from Another Presentation on Mac Click New Slide from the Home tab's Slides group and select Insert Slides from Other Presentation… Navigate to the PowerPoint presentation file that contains the background you wish to copy. Double-click or press Insert. This prompts the Slide Finder dialogue box. Make sure Keep design of original slides is unchecked and click the slide(s) that contains the background you want. Hold Shift key to select multiple slides. Apply New Layout (Important): Click Layout from the Home tab's Slides group, and click the slide containing the desired layout from the layout gallery. The accuracy, relevancy, and timeliness of well- developed, user-friendly O&M manuals cannot be overstated. Hence, it is becoming more common for detailed, facility-specific O&M manuals to be required as a part of the total commissioning process. Approving Compare Signing Reviewing Stamping AutoVue is a visualization and collaboration solution which allows users to view hundreds of technical and business document types, all in a single and simple to use UI. Document types include 2D CAD drawings, 3D CAD models and assemblies, as well as Electronic CAD files (printed circuit boards) and Office type documents like PDF and TIFF. Users do not need copies of the authoring applications or CAD systems to view the files, nor do they have to convert files to any neutral or proprietary format. AutoVue reads the files in their native format. With AutoVue users can add digital annotations or markups to files to communicate instructions, provide feedback, or add comments and approvals. I’ll discuss this in a lot more detail in the subsequent slides. This is a web based solution and as a result the documents are decoded by the server and only a visual representation of the file is sent to the web browser. No file is ever transferred to the client machine - not even temporarily. Because of this architecture, users can also collaborate in real time via shared sessions and hold live document /design reviews with globally dispersed teams. There is no additional cost for this capability. AutoVue also offers an offline collaboration capability. Most importantly, as a server based technology, AutoVue is open and designed to integrate with enterprise systems, such as document or content management, PLM, ERP, etc. Some out of the box integrations are available for systems like SharePoint or Documentum, but users can also create their own custom integrations using a variety of integration tools like our integration SDK and web services.
