3 2. Then, using 3x5 index cards, write the verb infinitive on one side, and then draw a picture with the English definition on the back. Make them nice and colorful!

4 Regular, what’s that mean? You might be wondering what a “regular” AR verb is. When we conjugate verbs in Spanish, it simply means to change the ending. Remember, all verbs in Spanish end with an AR, ER, or IR. Depending on the subject pronoun, the verbs will have different endings. All regular AR, ER and IR verbs will have the same pattern of endings. If a verb is irregular, it does not follow the normal pattern. Right now, we will just worry about the regular ones.

5 Overview of Conjugating Verbs Conjugating Verbs Read the links above. On the discussion forum, post an example of a verb infinitive, the stem, and a conjugated verb. Remember, in the present tense, the translation can mean several different things. For example, yo hablo can mean: I speak I do speak I am speaking.

7 Read about how to conjugate AR verbs conjugating AR verbs Take the quiz at the bottom of the page, and on a word document, (Click no to include vosotros/vosotras) Write the sentence in Spanish with the conjugated verb. Translate the sentence. Title the assignment Quiz AR Verbs If you get any wrong, make corrections, but tell me your score and which sentence you got incorrect.
