7 CONTINUOUS AND COMPREHENSIVE EVALUATION (CCE)
EVALUATION SYSTEM CONTINUOUS AND COMPREHENSIVE EVALUATION (CCE) IT PROVIDES REGULAR ASSESSMENT OF SCHOLASTIC AND CO-SCHOLASTIC DOMAINS OF DEVELOPMENT. IT AIMS AT MAKING EVALUATION AN INTEGRAL PART OF TEACHING LEARNING PROCESS. IT FOCUSES ON REGULARITY AND CONTINUITY IN ASSESSMENT IT INCLUDES VARIETY OF TOOLS AND TECHNIQUES FOR ASSESSMENT OF THE LEARNER. IT PROVIDES A PLATFORM FOR ACTIVE INVOLVEMENT OF STUDENTS IN THEIR OWN LEARNING .

SA - SUMMATIVE ASSESSMENT QUESTION PAPERS AND MARKING SCHEME ARE SUPPLIED BY BOARD OR MADE BY THE TEACHERS AND SENT TO THE BOARD ASSESSMENT IS CARRIED BY SCHOOL FA – FORMATIVE ASSESSMENT : SCHOOL BASED INTERNAL ASSESSMENT

11 FORMATIVE ASSESMENT (FA)
FAI&III ARE BASED ON ACTIVITIES SUCH AS PROJECTS, GROUP ACTIVITIES, PRESENTATIONS, QUIZ ETC. ASSESSED ON DIFFERENT PARAMETERS SUCH AS : TIMELY SUBMISSION CONTENT PRESENTATION ETC. FA-II IS A PEN AND PAPER TEST OF 20 MARKS IN THE FORM OF WEEKLY TESTS

12 FA IV WILL BE PROBLEM SOLVING ASSESMENT (PSA).
THIS WIL BE CARRIED FORWARD TOWARDS FA IV IN CLASS X. THIS SCORE WILL BE REFLECTED IN ENGLISH, MATHS,GENERAL SCIENCE AND SOCIAL SCIENCE. THE SAME SCORE WILL BE REFLECTED IN FA4 FOR CLASS IX AND X.

13 THE STUDENTS WILL HAVE THE OPTION TO IMPROVE THEIR PSA SCORE IN CLASS X , AS THEY CAN SIT WITH CLASS IX STUDENTS. THE BEST SCORE WILL BE REFLECTED IN THE FINAL CERTIFICATE IN CASE OF THOSE APPLYING FOR IMPROVEMENT

14 SUMMATIVE ASSESMENT (SA)
IT IS A PEN AND PAPER TEST DURATION IS OF 3 HOURS COVERS ENTIRE TERM SYLLABUS IT IS OF 90 MARKS WEIGHTAGE IS 30% OF THE TERM THE GRADES E1 OR E2 INDICATES THAT CANDIDATE HAS OBTAINED LESS THAN 25% MANDATORY MARKS IN SUMMATIVE ASSESMENTS.

15 THE GRADES SCORED IN THE ASSESMENT OF SPEAKING AND LISTENING SKILLS (ASL) IN ENGLISH WILL BE A PART OF SUMMATIVE ASSESMENT I & II ( ) AND WILL BE REFELECTED AS AN AGGREGATE GRADE IN THE PERFORMANCE PROFILE. IT IS MANDATORY FOR STUDENTS TO APPEAR IN BOTH THE SUMMATIVES ASSESSMENT AND SCORE A MINIMUM OF 25% MARKS IN AGGREGATE IF A CHILD FAILS IN ANY SUBJECT, HE / SHE WILL BE ALLOWED TO SIT FOR IMPROVEMENT TEST AT THE END OF THE TERM II IF THE CHILD FAILS IN THE RE-TEST HE / SHE WILL BE DETAINED .

16 OTBA OPEN TEXT BASED ASSESSMENT (OTBA) IN ENGLISH, HINDI, MATHEMATICS, SCIENCE IN SUMMATIVE ASSESSMENT II CONSIST OF 10 MARKS MATERIAL AT THE TIME OF EXAM WILL BE PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL

17 PLEASE NOTE : IF A CHILD FAILS IN ANY SUBJECT , HE/SHE WILL BE ALLOWED TO SIT FOR ONLY ONE IMPROVEMENT TEST NO LEAVE IS ALLOWED ON THE DAYS OF FA AND SA EXAMS . IN CASE OF MEDICAL LEAVE , PARENTS SHOULD PERSONALLY REPORT TO THE HEADMISTRESS ALONGWITH AN APPLICATION AND A MEDICAL CERTIFICATE.

19 GRADES IN SCHOLASTIC AREAS ARE UPGRADED TO THE NEXT HIGHER GRADE ON THE BASIS OF ACHIEVEMENT IN THE CO – SCHOLASTIC AREAS AND CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES STUDENTS NEEDS TO BE REGULAR IN SUBMITTING THEIR ACTIVITIES AND PROJECTS

20 NORMS FOR PARENTS AND STUDENTS

21 I . STUDENT DIARY IT IS A COMPREHENSIVE DOCUMENT OF THE SCHOOL.
PARENTS MUST READ ALL THE DETAILS GIVEN IN THE DIARY. STUDENTS MUST CARRY IT TO SCHOOL EVERYDAY. PARENTS ARE TO PROVIDE ALL PERSONAL DATA IN THE DIARY AS PER THE SCHOOL RECORDS AT THE TIME OF ADMISSION. ALL NOTES GIVEN BY THE TEACHERS SHOULD BE SIGNED BY THE PARENTS WITHOUT FAIL. PARENTS SHOULD BE VERY CAREFULL IN PROVIDING THE DETAILS AS THEY ARE REQUIRED BY CBSE

22 2. REGULARITY AND PUNCTUALITY
CHILD MUST REACH SCHOOL AT LEAST 5 MINUTES IN ADVANCE (7.40 AM) 75% ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY AS PER C.B.S.E. RULES IF THERE IS A GENUINE REQUIREMENT, HIS / HER ABSENCE MUST BE SUPPORTED BY A LEAVE APPLICATION ,PREFERABLY THROUGH SCHOOL DIARY. NO HALF DAY LEAVE IS PERMITTED.

23 3. PERSONALITY CHILD MUST COME TO SCHOOL IN PROPER UNIFORM COLOURFUL CLIPS, BANDS ARE NOT ALLOWED ONLY SCHOOL PRESCRIBED SHOES ARE TO BE WORN. BOYS SHOULD HAVE PROPERLY TRIMMED HAIR AND GIRLS WITH LONG HAIR SHOULD HAVE THEM PLAITED. NO NAIL PAINTS AND DEO SPRAYS SHOULD BE APPLIED.

24 4. CONDUCT STUDENTS MUST CONDUCT THEMSELVES WITH GRACE AND DECENCY AND NOT INDULGE IN FIGHTS SQUABBLES EITHER INSIDE OR OUTSIDE THE SCHOOL NO ELECTRONIC ITEM ,MOBILES SHOULD BE BROUGHT TO SCHOOL. THEY WILL BE CONFISCATED & WILL NOT BE RETURNED IF CAUGHT. STUDENTS SHOULD BE SENSITIVE TOWARDS THE USE OF SCHOOL PROPERTY .

25 BULLYING IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED IN THE SCHOOL CAMPUS
BULLYING IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED IN THE SCHOOL CAMPUS. IF FOUND GUILTY AS PER THE CBSE DIRECTIVES FOLLOWING ACTION WILL BE TAKEN AGAINST THE CHILD ORAL AND WRITTEN WARNING SUSPENSION FROM ATTENDING CLASSES / SCHOOL WITHHOLDING OR CANCELLING THE RESULTS IMPOSITION OF FINE EXPULSION / RUSTICATION FROM SCHOOL

26 5. MAINTENANCE OF NOTEBOOKS

29 PARENT TEACHER INTERACTION
THERE SHOULD BE TRANSPARENCY IN PARENT-CHILD-TEACHER INTERACTION DIARY IS THE MOST IMPORTANT TOOL OF INTERACTION BETWEEN PARENTS AND TEACHER PARENTS TO KINDLY INFORM THE CLASS TEACHER ABOUT ANY PHYSICAL AILMENT ALLERGY /DYSLEXIA THEIR CHILD IS SUFFERING PARENTS TO MEET ANY TEACHER ONLY WITH PRIOR APPOINTMENT (7.45AM-8.30AM)
