5. II. Usage: Use whose + Noun when talking about sth belonging to a person. –Ex: Stevenson is an architect. Her designs have won international award.  Stevenson whose designs have won international award is an architect.

6. Use who + Noun when talking about things, especially about towns, countries, organizations. –Ex: We need to learn from companies. Their trading is more healthy than our own. => We need to learn from companies whose trading is more healthy than our own.

7. Can use whose in both defining and non-defining relative clauses –Ex: Neil Adams, whose parents are both teachers, won first prize in the competition. I know that girl whose bicycle was stolen yesterday evening.
