What is collaborative leadership? “Collaborative leadership embraces a process in which individual leaders from different organisations come together for a shared purpose and work collaboratively to deliver the very best learning opportunities and outcomes for young people.” (CEL/NCSL Steering Group: 2007) “Collaborative leadership is leadership shown by a group that is acting collaboratively to solve agreed upon issues. It uses supportive and inclusive methods to ensure that all people affected by a decision are part of the change process.
