FEATURE EXAMPLES Improved Grading and Scoring Improving the user interface to be more informative and inviting for Team Graders Introduced three methods of grading, allowing graders to grade as they want to grade. Seeing all respondents, grading a question at a time Seeing all questions, grading one or two respondents at a time Offline grading via Excel DESCRIPTION Significant improvements to the usability for Grading and Scoring will be implemented allowing an organization to extend the sourcing evaluation process to more interested parties. Benefits Team Graders are typically the users with the least amount of experience in the solution, so we are making the grading process more usable so they can grade and get out. By introducing different methods to grade, Team Graders can chose to grade in the way that is the best way for them and the event they are grading. New user interfaces for grading allows for performance improvements in the presenting of responses and actually grading. © 2012 Ariba, Inc. All rights reserved.

FEATURE EXAMPLES Savings Form Improvements The ability to force approvals before a Savings Form can be Published Guide you to the approval that needs to be done Approval Graphs can now reference fields on the Savings Form, not just project header Make sure that the data from that form is not reportable until that form gets published Ability to define Templates for Ad Hoc Savings Forms Ability to limit the creation of Ad hoc Savings Forms… DESCRIPTION This set of features allows more control over the processing of Savings Forms in projects. For example, you can force an approval before Publish, set a prototype to be used for ad hoc form creation, control whether or not Draft versions of forms are sent to reporting, and control how many forms of a given type can be created per workspace. Benefits Much better control of the publish of Savings Forms and when that data is available for reports. Guided and forced approvals on Savings Forms. The ability to define and “templatize”, in advance, the Savings form allowable for ad hoc creation in a project. © 2012 Ariba, Inc. All rights reserved.

10 13s1 Items Under Consideration
Expand Event Limits Expand all the major event limits including # of suppliers, number of items, number of terms, and number of content questions. We need to address the major use cases of our customers in this area. Hybrid Blind Sealed bid Allow for the buyer to expose additional information during a “Blind Sealed Bid” so they could know if suppliers have not submitted responses or not. Japanese Auctions A new auction template to support Japanese Auctions Enhanced Envelope Bidding Currently Envelope Bidding has shortcomings as implemented, we need to clear those up, including the destroying of responses once a supplier is rejected for the next step and Run time Edits. © 2012 Ariba, Inc. 11 13s1 Items Under Consideration
Improved Supplier Response Teams Current implementation of SRT doesn't allow for including SRTs in events after the event has been published. Message Board Enhancements I Show a replied to message as “replied to” for all the buyers viewing the event. Also, provide information that it was replied to by the viewer or other team members. Ability to Export all messages in a format that is sort able in excel. Search in Message Board on both headers and content Add a message filter for all messages from participants, buyers, and related responses. Provide the ability for buyers to check a box if they feel they have answered a question to allow for a filter of "unanswered questions". Integration II Support for full round-trip with an external ERP or PLM system. This would allow an event to be initiated and created by integration from the external system. Post event, via integration, results and awards, including attachments. Lookup Table Terms Ability to have a term in an item that uses inputs to look up a value in a table. © 2012 Ariba, Inc. 12 13s1 Items Under Consideration
Event Reporting I A nice Event report that can be shared with management without changes/edits summarizing event results…similar to 4.4 report Public Sector Sourcing Ability to support the sourcing needs of the Public Sector including the broadcasting of events to 3rd party sites, supplier self nomination, handling importing of suppliers into an event from Discovery multiple times during the event, restrict deletion of messages, and other needed enhancements. Awarding Improvements Award all to one in an easy way and don't send an message for each awarded item, combine if going to the same supplier Ability to control/edit Participant Notifications Buyers want to control the sending of notifications, for example, restrict notifications being sent when they have to re-open an event for a late bidder, not wanting the other suppliers to be notified. 17 Don’t Miss the General Session Panel Today at 5:15 p.m.
Sustainable Supply Chains through Vested Trading Partner Relationships Long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships between buyers and suppliers are increasingly being described as vested relationships, defined by a shared vision, agreed-upon desired outcomes, transparency, trust, and win-win. Developing such trading partner relationships pays dividends in many ways, particularly when your goal is ensuring a sustainable supply chain. Join Tim Minahan, chief marketing officer for Ariba, as he explores the concept with Kate Vitasek, author of Vested Outsourcing, and Tim McBride, general manager for global finance shared services at Microsoft. Mr. Minahan and his guests will engage with Ariba customers who will talk about such investments at their companies, and the impact they have on their comprehensive sustainability programs. 5:15 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. – Florentine III and IV © 2012 Ariba, Inc.
