10 Workplace Safety and Insurance Board | Commission de la sécurité professionnelle et de l’assurance contre les accidents du travail Work Reintegration & NEER Policy Update ■ The draft NEER policy extends the NEER window from three to four years beginning with the 2008 injury year ■ Proposed change does not affect 6,000 CAD-7 employers, 90,000 MAP employers or 120,000 small employers ■ The KPMG Value for Money Audit on LMR and the Experience Rating Review found that the ER window can directly influence the return to work process, and needs to be changed to support work reintegration moving forward. 10
