Success Factors E-skills training is an urgent issue in the country in view of employability and e-government development – Governments need to address the issue and do it efficiently – Employers need skilled workers but do not have funds for their training – Local training providers need standardized curriculum and the credible program acknowledged by employers and students – Local organizations need to stay upfront in the newest trends to fight for the funding, support and recognition – Students (beneficiaries) need training for their work and life

Success Factors Flexible Participation for Students and Partners – Combination of in-class and online training – ANY organization with an existing infrastructure can join – Two major levels of involvement (associated members and authorized centers) – Transparency – Experience sharing encouraged but not imposed

Success Factors Network of centers – Sense of belonging to an All-Russian initiative – Standardized curriculum – Program certification with the logo – Prestige of participating in an international program with reputable partners – Capacity building for local organizations – Training events – Bonus system – Knowledge sharing and exchange of ideas through various means – Many of the organizations participated in PH’s previous programs and trust/respect what we do

Success Factors Big PR campaign (center launches, mass media coverage) – Raising awareness of the program and the issue – Visibility for ALL partners – New partnerships / ways of collaboration – Recruiting trainees – Finding new partners

Success Factors Involvement of Microsoft regional employees – Advocating for the program – Regional experts / local contacts – Identifying potential center partners – Facilitating contacts and partnerships – Coordinating public events / center launches – Involvement in the life of community – Involvement in the center activities
