5 History NetApp was founded in 1992 by David Hitz, James Lau, Charles Perrell and Michael Malcolm. On August 19, 2009, Dan Warmenhoven stepped down as CEO and was replaced by Tom Georgens.

Wegmans is headquartered in the Rochester suburb of Gates. Danny Wegman is CEO.
