Take Home Binder Your child will bring their binder to and from school each day. This binder will include sections for their homework, behavior chart, important notes, and graded work. Please check daily and remove graded work.
Homework Your student will have math and reading homework weekly. Their math homework will consist of practice problems for recently taught concepts. The reading homework will be a reading log for your child to write about books they are reading at home.
Graded Work Graded work comes home in your child’s binder. On any assignment with a grade below 70%, the student will have an opportunity to correct their work. Students may request a re-take for a grade of up to 80% if they score lower than 70% on summatives/tests.
Chisholm Ridge Elementary Behavior Program Please be sure that you see and sign the Behavior Management sheet each Thursday night. Conduct grades are based on the number of additions and deductions your child has during the 9 weeks.
