2 Fruit and vegetables are packed full of vitamins, minerals and fibre that help protect the body from illness. Examples of fruit & vegetables: Carrot, celery, broccoli, cherry’s, banana, strawberries, peas, beans, corn, avocado, etc. Go back to A Healthy Balance

3 These contain carbohydrates. Carbohydrates help fuel the body by providing energy. When we exert the body with exercise and things that uses energy. We have to make sure we refill the energy that goes out, with food and water that comes in. We can replace lost energy by eating foods rich in carbohydrates and drinking plenty of water.
