There is no clear definition of what is important There is no consideration of data acquisition costs Design of EIS that with pre-established objectives aiming at: - Data integration (institutions too) - Systematization - Accessibility (distribution among agencies)

There is need for appropriate digital maps It should not be an excuse for not developing an EIS: - Digitize (costs-benefit) - Allow data input even without the appropriate maps
