2 Pre-Preparatory Phase : JULY- DEC Meeting with the Agri Dev’t Board of Davao City on the proposal to update the Five-Year Davao City Agricultural Development Plan (DC- ADEP) ; Output/Results: Came up with a verbal partnership agreement on updating Five-Year Davao City Agricultural Development Plan (DC-ADEP)

3 Pre-Preparatory Phase : July- Dec Conducted orientation on the proposed project on updating DC-ADEP and consultation workshop among various stakeholders (GOs, NGAs, & NGOs) Output/Results: Three Workshop outputs: 1) Visioning Davao City as Sustainable Agri-Fishery City; 2) Identification of Issues and Concerns; and 3) Action Plan to address Issues and Concerns. (see attached)

4 Pre-Preparatory Phase : July- Dec Conducted consultative meeting with Agri Dev’t Board, USEP, CCDO, City Vet, and Office of Councilor Baluran; Output/Results: Technical ssistance Package Proposal prepared by USEP requested by the Agriboard was presented; re: Updating and Formulation of SAFDP ( ). The body agreed to modify the said proposal and proponent will be the CAO.

5 Pre-Preparatory Phase : July- Dec Brainstorming and workshop was done by USEP,(Dr. Prantilla and Dr. Cruz), CAO (Jo & Roy) and Agri Dev’t Board Rep (Mr. Lange) Output/Results: Formulated the revised proposal and identified the members of the TWG.

6 Pre-Preparatory Phase : July- Dec CAO sent letter to USEP President Dr. Perfecto Alibin requesting the University as partner of the project and to have the technical support of Dr. Prantilla and Dr. Cruz and a few more to join the team at the same time to waive the administrative cost and consider it as the University ‘s counterpart in the formulation of the SAFDP. Output/Results: CAO received the approval of Dr. Alibin on October 18, 2010.

7 Pre-Preparatory Phase : July- Dec Preparation, submission and attendance to budget hearings for the approval of the budget as part of the ADF for 2011 Output/Results: An amount of P496,500 was approved as part of the P20M allocation of CAO in 2011 ADF.

9 Preparatory Phase : Jan. –March Data gathering. Waiting for the approval of the project design. Attended consultations conducted by CPDO re: Updating of DC-CDP. Output/Results: Submitted various agricultural data to CPDO. 9. TWG-Core Group Meeting re: update and status of SAFDP, timetable of activities, inventory of data available and requirements. Dr. Prantilla and Dr. Cruz presented SAFDP indicative framework. Mr. Avila facilitated drafting potential problem analysis (PPA) and solutions. Output/Results: Revised schedule of activities. PPA matrix and SAFDP indicative framework. formulated

10 Preparatory Phase : Jan. –June TWG-Core Group Meeting re: status of data gathering. Dr. Prantilla presented SAFDP content outline. Output/Results: SAFDP data checklist and draft content outline. 11. TWG-Core Group Meeting re: status of data gathering, PPA status check, review of existing/latest SWOT results/outputs. Prepared program for 1st Stakeholders Consultative Workshop; Drafted the EO for the creation of TWG. Output/Results: SWOT (crops, livestock, fishery) reviewed. Drafted EO for the Creation of TWG for SAFDP as revised.

11 Preparatory Phase : Jan. –June Conducted HVCC Stakeholders Consultation re: DATE event: Output/Results: Issues and concerns on HVCC identified as input to SAFDP; 13. CAO endorsed draft EO for the Creation of the TWG for the Formulation of DC-SAFDP to the City Mayor thru the City Legal Office. Output/Results: Exedcutive Order 34 was approved and effected Composition of the TWG are as follows: City Mayor-Chairperson; Co-Chair- City Agriculturist; Members: City Planning Dev’t. Office, City Vet, City Coop, USEP, Agri.- Dev’t. Board and CAFC,

12 Planning Proper Phase : July–Nov Coordinated/Conduct consultations with the Floriculture sector thru attendance to meeting and cnduct of survey Output/Results: Issues and concerns were validated. 15. CAO and CVO technical Staff conducted series of planning workshops for the formulation of spatial and development intervention, together with some stakeholders. Output/Results: Came up with 10-year proposed spatial and development plan.
