3 1.What country has the largest column? What are the reasons that you think that this country has the highest amount? United States of America has the population. I think this is because it has the most land. 2.What country has the smallest/lowest? What reasons would cause this country to have a low amount? San Marino has the smallest population. I think this is because it a has the least amount of land and is still developing. 3.Look at the 5 th and 6 th ranked countries. Are they developed, developing, or one of each? Why do you think that they are where they are in the rankings? Use data to help you answer the question. Cuba and Haiti are the 5 th and 6 th. I think that Cuba is the 5 th because it is a decent size. It is also a still developing country.

4 1.Look at the 7 th and 8 th ranked countries. Are they developing countries? If so, what do they need to do in order to get to the top half of the rankings? Use data from any information to help you answer the question. My 7 th and 8 th ranked countries are Norway and Burundi. Norway is a developed country but Burundi is not a developed country. I think that the reason why Norway has such a small population is because Norway has such a small country and also some of Norway is mountains. Norway also has many natural boundaries. Burundi has a small population because it is also a small country. 2.Name another country (other than the US) that stands out to you on the chart. Describe the country and what type of impact it has on world consumption. Norway stands out to me because I have always thought of Norway as a well developed country. Norway though has a very small population

Why do you think that they are where they are in the rankings? Use data to help you answer the question. The Netherlands and Norway are the 5 th and 6 th ranked countries.
