3 Oil consumption 1.What country has the largest column? What are the reasons that you think that this country has the highest amount? Haiti is the country with the largest column. I think that Haiti consumes the most oil because they have lots of oil wells. 2.What country has the smallest/lowest? What reasons would cause this country to have a low amount? Australia is the country with the smallest column. I think they consume the least amount of oil because they don’t produce a lot. 3.Look at the 5 th and 6 th ranked countries. Are they developed, developing, or one of each? Why do you think that they are where they are in the rankings? Use data to help you answer the question. The U.S. and Russia are the fifth and sixth ranked countries. The U.S. and Russia are both developed countries. I think that the U.S. is developed because we have lots of people and money. I think Russia is developed because they have lots of people and money. 4.Look at the 7 th and 8 th ranked countries. Are they developing countries? If so, what do they need to do in order to get to the top half of the rankings? Use data from any information to help you answer the question. Canada and Mexico are the seventh and eighth ranked countries. Both countries are developed, maybe they need to produce more resources. 5.Name another country (other than the US) that stands out to you on the chart. Describe the country and what type of impact it has on world consumption. Haiti stands out to me because it is the second highest ranked country. Haiti produces coffee and also sugar.

5 Internet Users 1.What country has the largest column? What are the reasons that you think that this country has the highest amount? The U.S. has the largest column. I think we have the largest column because we have lots of people that can read and to use the internet you have to read. 2.What country has the smallest/lowest? What reasons would cause this country to have a low amount? Lithuania has the smallest column. I think it has the lowest because this is still a developing country. 3.Look at the 5 th and 6 th ranked countries. Are they developed, developing, or one of each? Why do you think that they are where they are in the rankings? Use data to help you answer the question. Australia and Lithuania are the fifth and sixth ranked countries. Lithuania is developing and Australia is developed. Lithuania being a developing country may not have many computers. Australia is developed but still doesn’t have as many users as other developed countries. 4.Look at the 7 th and 8 th ranked countries. Are they developing countries? If so, what do they need to do in order to get to the top half of the rankings? Use data from any information to help you answer the question. Canada and Togo are the seventh and eighth ranked countries. Canada is developed and Togo isn’t. They need to get more people to use computers. 5.Name another country (other than the US) that stands out to you on the chart. Describe the country and what type of impact it has on world consumption. Haiti stands out because it doesn’t really affect the WCC.

7 Physician Density 1.What country has the largest column? What are the reasons that you think that this country has the highest amount? Australia has the largest column. I think they have the largest because they have a lot of doctors. 2.What country has the smallest/lowest? What reasons would cause this country to have a low amount? Haiti has the least. I think they have a low amount because they are a third world country so they won’t naturally have lots of doctors. 3.Look at the 5 th and 6 th ranked countries. Are they developed, developing, or one of each? Why do you think that they are where they are in the rankings? Use data to help you answer the question. The U.S and Canada are both developed. I don’t think that they are were they should be because they are two of the most developed countries in the world so I think they should have lots of doctors. 4.Look at the 7 th and 8 th ranked countries. Are they developing countries? If so, what do they need to do in order to get to the top half of the rankings? Use data from any information to help you answer the question. Pakistan is a developed country and Togo isn’t. To get to the top of the ranks they must get more doctors. 5.Name another country (other than the US) that stands out to you on the chart. Describe the country and what type of impact it has on world consumption. Haiti stands out because it has the lowest on the chart and has almost no impact on world consumption patterns.
