ARRA Grant Overview Goal – To create more accessible learning experiences for all students Based on Universal Design for Learning Model Using technology to improve teaching and learning Implementation – Training teachers to differentiate instruction with technology Venues Workshops (summer, early release days, after school) Technology Integration Specialists (TIS) responding to individual teacher requests Resource development by TISs.
Universal Design for Learning Model Provide Multiple Means of Representation Information is accessible to all Provide Multiple Means for Action and Expression Interact with ideas using a variety of tools Demonstrate knowledge in different formats Provide Multiple Means for Engagement Authentic learning experiences, communication and collaboration
