2 What is Community Service for Youth? Intended to strengthen young peoples' senses of Civic engagement and community

3 How Does Community Service Help Youth? helps them achieve their educational, developmental and social goals (Wikipedia, 2012).

4 Community Service and 4-H Record Books: (Pg 19) Member Requirements/District Awards WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO RECEIVE A YEAR END PIN? (Leader makes determination for yearend pin.) Member must have: 1) Completed at least one 4-H project (See project record book for criteria for a completed project) 2) Participated in a community service activity 3) During the year, do at least one presentation 4) Participate in at least one district/community event, representing 4-H

5 CITIZENSHIP/COMMUNITY SERVICE: (Pg. 20) List activities you did without pay to help others. Include activities done with your club as well as by yourself.
