2 Webinar Overview In this webinar, we will be focusing on compiling Timelapse Artifacts: Choosing a Clarifying Objective Work Sample Options: Individual Student Work Samples Whole Class Work Samples

6 Compiling Timelapse Artifacts Items needed to compile a Timelapse Artifact (TA): A specific clarifying objective 2 distinct points in time Method(s) or tool(s) for collecting/harvesting Work Sample Options: Student or Whole Class 2 work samples Context

9 Choosing a Clarifying Objective Time frame Teachers choose the length of time needed to teach the objective and to gather evidence of student growth on that objective.

10 Choosing a Clarifying Objective Number of class contacts 3 times a week for 30 minutes throughout the year 1 time per week for 40 minutes throughout the year Every day for 45 minutes for 1 semester Every day for 90 minutes for 1 semester Every day for 50 minutes over 2 semesters/1 year

11 Choosing a Clarifying Objective Method(s) of Measurement Choose an objective for which measurement methods exist or can be easily developed

16 1 Timelapse Artifact Timelapse Artifact Option 1 – Student Work Samples Online platform will select 3 students The TA will be compiled using the Student Work Samples from these selected students. Work Sample Options

20 Timelapse Artifact Option 2 – Whole Class Work Samples The two whole class work samples make up 1Timelapse Artifact. 22 Timelapse Artifacts will be uploaded to the online platform. Module 10 will provide training in accessing and navigating the online platform Complete and Upload Timelapse Artifacts as an Evidence Collection TA 3 Student TA 3 Student TA 4 Student TA 4 Student TA 5 Whole Class TA 5 Whole Class TA 1 Student TA 2 Whole Class For purposes of the 2013-14 pilot participants will submit 3 Timelapse Artifacts.
