2 What is a Community? Drug Information Association 2 Communities within DIA are discipline-specific where members can share common experiences and connect with others in their field. Communities provide a neutral forum for volunteers to network and exchange information. Communities also assist DIA in identifying professional development needs in career and professional development.

3 Mission To provide a worldwide-, professional-, neutral-forum for discussion of issues and best practices relevant to medical communications professionals, with an emphasis on the creation and provision of high- quality medical information to address the unsolicited inquiries of our customers - healthcare professionals, patients, consumers, payers, etc… To raise awareness of the value of medical communications and to encourage dialogue among regulators, academic institutions, and other industry personnel. Drug Information Association 3 ~ 370 members strong!
