The Canadian Beverage Container Recycling Association (CBCRA) implemented and operates the Recycle Everywhere program. CBCRA is a not-for-profit, industry-funded organization whose membership includes beverage brand owners and distributors. CBCRA is committed to reaching the government-mandated target of recovering 75% of beverage containers sold in Manitoba. ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Recycle Everywhere gets its funding from beverage producers and from the two cent levy (eco-fee) attached to beverage containers purchased in participating retailers. Why the eco fee? Why not the deposit system? In order to reach the recovery rate of 75% of beverage containers the program focuses on providing advertising, free recycling bins, and education.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM - BINS Recycle Everywhere wants to implement their bins into as many public spaces as possible and a specific goal of all schools in Manitoba. What does that entail?

The CBCRA Recycle Everywhere program recently initiated a Mini Bin program that provides free bins for multi-family dwellings. This is the first time recycle everywhere provided bins for residences. ABOUT THE PROGRAM – BINS (MINI)

Recycle Everywhere 101 program is focused to increase recycling in schools across Manitoba. The company will deliver the bins of their choice along with promotional items. Presentations for kids in schools, daycares, and for the boys and girls club are also available. ABOUT THE PROGRAM - 101

STREET TEAM Delivers all ages education on beverage container recycling by attending events all over Manitoba.

STREET TEAM Trying to increase the rate of beverage container recycling by promoting and encouraging recycling, while increasing public knowledge of what is recyclable. Trivia Questions! Games! Answer public inquiries!

PROGRESS The program has reached a recovery rate of 64% which is 11% away from the government mandated target of 75%.
