5. FAMILY ‘FUN’DAMENTALS Program Objective: To replicate the back garden environment in which most young players i.e. those aged 4 are introduced to Soccer around the globe. Program Philosophy: By creating a flexible, fun filled soccer environment that is "pressure" free. The youngsters will be introduced to some fundamental Soccer skills. These skills will be introduced and taught by a MASTER coach and parent volunteers. Each player will be lead rather than pushed into the world of Soccer. If a player gets to tired it is okay to sit down or even go pick the daisies! By creating a flexible, fun filled soccer environment that is "pressure" free. The youngsters will be introduced to some fundamental Soccer skills. These skills will be introduced and taught by a MASTER coach and parent volunteers. Each player will be lead rather than pushed into the world of Soccer. If a player gets to tired it is okay to sit down or even go pick the daisies! Program Logistics: One or two master coaches will lead each practice. These two coaches will introduce a game or a skill which the child and parent then go away and practice together. After a suitable amount of time has passed the head coaches bring the players and parents back together and the next game or skill is shown.
