First Day Business  Paperwork  Schedules  First Day Packet  Intro myself (and explain FAQs)  R and G  Teaching career  MVS  My hobbies  Room Tour

Grades  All assignments are based on a percentage…so everything is worth a certain number of points.  The Grading scale is weighted as follows:  10% homework  40% classwork  50% tests/quizzes/projects

What will homework look like? Just kidding! Most often, homework will be to work on a long term project or to finish a classwork assignment.

There will be times I have to lead a lecture/discussion, but….

Tests… yes, some ABCD stuff… but lots of this too! Most of our assessments will be written assignments or projects at this level. Often, you might even forget you are taking a test! Level 1 and Level 2 represent homework and classwork as a topic is introduced.

What if I forget what I have to do, or if I was absent? 1.1. Check the calendar that was given to you for the Unit. I often hear students so, Oh, I don’t check that…. But you NEED to! 2. Check with Ms. ‘F’ about what you missed the day (s) you were absent! You must take the initiative!

FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions)  I know you get tired of hearing the same thing, over and over, from every teacher at the start of the year. Most of what we have to say is the same. So instead, I am going to give you a chance to ask questions about rules, policies, and procedures of the class. I will then make a FAQs sheet for you and your parents, so that what I tell you is meaningful  Your homework is to get paper signed and to come up with questions you would like answered!

 We will be using Google Classroom, Draw, Slides, Docs, etc. a lot this year. Sometimes assignments will be submitted using Google Classroom. 1. Go to Google Classroom 2. Click on the + sign that says join class. 3. Enter the class code.
