America, tea from India, oil from Middle East, exports products too VII) Region Region- an area with its own unifying characteristics Can be defined by physical (Rocky Mountain area), cultural (Muslim world), political, or economic regions Ex) Pakistan: physical-South Asia, cultural- Muslim world, ec.- developing world (Third World) Location, history, resources, and people of a region give it a unique identity Q- To which regions does Marblehead belong?
