9 The Way Forward Pastoral approach to grow interest and confidence in building towards teaching professorship Link the evidenced-building teaching portfolio framework to the Quality Management System. – Define improvement and impact indicators – Provide motivation to local leadership to re-think application of QMS to operationalise evidence-building framework – Identify teams to develop and communicate evidence-framework alignment to QMS – Workshop framework and test ownership of framework across institution – Involve staff in identifying winners – Reward specific contributions and achievements of not just individuals but teams – Develop incremental rewards toward teaching professorship

10 Leadership KPIs for TPP Apply intentional strategies at both central and local leadership levels to identify key prospective staff Develop teaching ministry champions in each faculty Provide targeted support to those eligible for teaching promotion Target at least 3 applications for 2016
