Health Benefits of PotatoesRecipes for PotatoesHow to Choose Good Potatoes Potatoes tend to have minimum destruction of nutrients, so have them your way! Potatoes are alkaline food that neutralizes acid in our body. Potatoes are rich in vitamin C so that it helps absorption of iron and prevents anemia. Potatoes contain lots of fiber, which helps to prevent constipation. Potatoes have 2-3 times more vitamin B1, B2 and B3 than rice. They also have 5 times more vitamin C than apples. Choose ones that are smooth, firm and rather heavy. Do not choose ones that have sprouts or are greenish. 6 ■ Ingredients prawns white wine Manila clams garlic Parmesan cheese onion 1 instant noodles (Ssalguksu JJambbong) potato milk olive oil salt & pepper broccoli

7 1. Peel the potato and chop it into small pieces(2*2cm ). Cook them in boiling water for 15min. 2. Chop the ends of garlic cloves and slice them 0.5cm thin. Shred the onion 0.5cm thin. 3. Chop the broccoli into little bites(2*2cm). 4. Shell the prawns, except the head and tail, and remove the intestinal tract. 5. When the potatoes are soft, drain them. 6. Cook the rice noodles in boiling water for 3 min. Add the broccoli and boil for 1 more min. Rinse them with cold water and drain them. 7. Blend the boiled potatoes, milk and the stock powder to make potato cream sauce. 8. Drizzle 1T olive oil onto a heated pan and stir-fry the sliced garlic. When the garlic turn brown, add the onion and keep stir- frying. 9. When the onions get soft, add the Manila clams and prawns and keep stir-frying. Add some white wine. 10. When the wine wears away, pour the potato cream sauce and boil it. 11. Add the rice noodles, broccoli and Parmesan cheese and boil the pasta down for 2min.. 12. Add salt and pepper if you like.

8 ① Get the ingredients ready. ② Chop the veggies. ③ Clean and prepare the prawns. ※ Boil the potato right after you chop it! ④ Blend the boiled potatoes and milk. ⑤ Cook the rice noodles and broccoli. ⑥ Stir-fry the garlic slices. ⑦ Add the onions. ⑧ Add the seafood. ⑨ Add the cream sauce. ⑩ Add the rice noodles, broccoli and Parmesan cheese.
