3 To tell your friend what not to do say; Don’t smoke anymore. Don’t add salt. No fumes más. No añadas sal a la comida.

6 Informal Commands Informal commands: To tell a friend to do something use informal tú commands. Commands include dos and don’ts. To state the dos (positive tú commands) of most verbs drop the s endings of the verb To state the don’ts (negative tú commands) switch the –as ending to –es and the –es ending to –as. (tú) caminas  camina (tú) comes  come (tú) duermes  Duerme (tú) fumas  ¡No fumes! (tú) corres  ¡No corras! (tú) vives  ¡No vivas!
