5. Other Changing ( Verb & Modifier) Verb: come – go She said, “I will come here this evening.” She said she would go there that evening.

6. Modifier (place): here – there He said, “My sister was here three days ago.” He said his sister had been there three days before.

7. Modifier (time) now – then today – that day yesterday – the day before tomorrow – the next day

8. Modifier (time) He said, “It is nine o’clock now.” He said, “I haven’t seen her today.” She said, “I went there yesterday.” She said, “I’ll go there tomorrow.” He said it was nine o’clock then. He said he hadn’t seen her that day. She said she had gone there the day before. She said she would go there the next (following) day.
