6 Unit 7 Essential Vocabulary  In your table groups, use your resources (smart phone, dictionary, prior knowledge, etc.) to complete the vocabulary graphic organizer.

10 Racism  The belief that all members of each race possess characteristics or abilities specific to that race, especially so as to distinguish it as inferior or superior to another race or races.

11 Raw Materials  The basic material from which a product is made. Examples: petroleum=plastic/gasoline lumber=fuel/building material

12 Sphere of Influence  A country or area in which another country has power to affect developments although it has no formal authority.
