4 Herpes Virus 80% of Adult Population has Oral Herpes 60% of Older Teenagers has Oral Herpes 25% of Adult Population has Genital Herpes 80% of people infected with Herpes Virus is not aware that they have it

5 How is Herpes Spread? Skin to Skin contact with person with an active Herpes (i.e. Cold sore) Kissing some body with active Herpes Sharing food or utensils with infected person Sharing towels with infected person There is no Herpes Vaccine Once you get Herpes you will have it forever

6 Symptoms of Herpes Oral Herpes: –Itchy around the sores –Pain around the gum and mouth –Last about 14 days and it will return Genital Herpes: –Itchy around the sores –Painful while urinating –May last weeks or months and it will return

16 Hepatitis Virus – Infects the liver If you get this virus there is a chance that you will never get rid of it. 350 Million people world wide are infected with the virus and can not get rid of it (chronic)

17 Hepatitis Virus – How is it transmitted? Transmitted in a similar ways as HIV If you get infected with the Hepatitis Virus, it may damage your liver and lead to liver cancer. 350 Million people world wide are infected with the virus and can not get rid of it (chronic) You can get vaccinated against the Hepatitis virus so that you will be protected against it.
