2. 1 John 3.8 “…The Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.” Temptation is all about persuasion, but if Christ has already persuaded you, Satan cannot make you do anything. Genesis 3.1-10 Satan is a talker, and you will never outtalk him.

3. Because of what Christ did, Jesus reduces Satan’s power to zero. Your power over Satan comes from knowing that he is a defeated foe. Because of the resurrection, all Satan has left are the lies he can tell about death.
